about us
Eudora United Methodist Church is a rapidly growing congregation of the worldwide United Methodist Church in Eudora, Kansas. We strive to be a welcoming and affirming church that is faith-filled and committed to serving others. We are a part of the Five-Rivers District of the Kansas East Conference, with our Superintendent Dennis Ackerman and Bishop Scott Jones.
In 2006, we took a leap of faith and sold our 85-year old building in preparation for a brand new building on K-10 and Winchester Road, where we erected a 40-foot tall cross and flame symbol. This new building promises to be more accessible and give us the space to grow.
Get to Know Us from Our Stewardship Video!
On February 3, 2008, with God's amazing help, we received our temporary occupancy permit and held our very first Sunday service in our new church building at 2084 N 1300 Rd., Eudora, KS 66025-0520.
On November 24, 2008, our church building suffered a fire in the sanctuary. Thankfully, no one was hurt. While our church was being re-built, we worshipped again at Warren-McElwain Eudora Chapel.
We're back at our restored building and we're excited at the opportunity and the potential to restart our ministries, welcome new people, meet new needs, and extend the love of God in our community and to the world. It's Restart 2.0!
