Worship should be a celebration; here at the beginning of a new year we recognize the lingering effects of the pandemic and unrest while seeking to embrace a new hope. The heavens have been torn up, but this isn't a threat; it's a promise of something new. We are invited to recommit ourselves to a closer walk with Christ in this New Year. May the waters of baptism renew us and cleanse us for our mission and ministry as followers of Jesus.
